I tried some a few years ago...spraying it on a plug but I didn't notice much difference. However I think the plug doesn't hold enought of the scent. I think you need to have a fillable sponge-cavity within the plug to really load up on scent. I think it might be productive.
I have been told about some sommerical rod and reel bass fisherman that soak their baits in some kind of oil and have been told it is killer.
Something to work on....
One of you plug makers should design a big swimming plug that has a intenal sponge in it that could be filled with bunker oil and then slowly released on retrieve...I would buy 4 or 5 of them at 25 bucks per. I don't think just spraying the outside of the lure is enough.
I may just punch a small hole in the side of the fish oil container and drag it behind the boat and see what bites it
