AJ 28

Hey Guys,

Anyone here taken a ride on an AJ 28? Not that it is in my financial future but boy I really like the size. Small enough to be alone if your buddies are busy. Good speed for down east hull and good fuel burn rates.

They use fiberglass tanks so beware of ethanol issues with some fiberglass. Also 75 gallons for fuel is not a lot for a 28' boat. Is the hull cored? It looks beautiful.

Sounds like they really push diesel over gas, so fiberglass tank and tank size not really issues.

For a canyon capable boat with diesel power I'd want 180-220 gallons. out with 1/3 in with 1/3 reserve 1/3!

I hear what you're saying Beamie, this one had a 250hp Yanmar according to the listing, bet she was real sweet at the fuel dock.
