I don't think you'll have much luck catching Bunker in a trap..Not sure how you would even bait them..Even if you were anle to coax them into a trap..they probably wont live more than a few hours anyway... It's much easier to find a pod and snag or net them..

200 sq. foot gill net 8' deep x 40' long 3/4 mesh so they just get thier little head and not gills stuck in it. I and a friend had one. We would set it a night among the moorings and row around it to herd them in. You can tell by the floats if you are scoring as they will submerge when the bunker get inn the net. Cape Fisherman's supply will build it for you.

I believe, but don't quote me, that with that size or smaller you don't need a license to harvest bait if it's for personal use

Should be 320 sq. ft. not 200.
