Interesting. The Mag Darter is the one smaller plastic that I have found is greatly improved by adding a dressed siwash rear hook. IMHO.

I'd rather be fishing!

I just tried it with an undressed siwash and didn't like it, but I'll have to try using a dressed hook and see how it works.

I think the water resistance from the bucktail is what makes the difference. For me the two plugs with the most marked improvement from adding a dressed siwash are the Mag Darter and the SS sinking Littleneck.

I'd rather be fishing!

That would be the sinking Littleneck Popper.
