You can not go wrong with Mowtown and Stax as your starting point. I would have it at at least 30 -40%. Everyone knows it and everyone of all ages who dance will feel comfortable dancing to it. Then throw in a little Elvis, Beach Boys, Beatles, some swing type stuff like Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin. Latin music is always good to get people dancing.
