I loved my 98 Tacoma, Loved it. But I bought a Chevy Silverado to tow the bigger boat, big mistake. Once the Chevy dies, I'm going back to Toyota.

before calling any stealership call toy corporate at 1-800-331-4331 . they will open a ticket and ask them to call your stealership your taking the truck to . When you arive the stealership will know why your there and it should lessen the hassle . I do this anytime I have an issue with a yota . I just did it for a TSB on my 06 taco 3 weeks ago . there were no hassles and they knew I had called corporate and they got the OK from them .

Mostly elbow grease coupled with Eagle1 Brake and Wheel cleaner. Scrubbed with a white (non-scratching) Scotchbrite pad
It's an '04 btw.

Toyota Tacoma update ???
Anyone here with one in the years of the frame problem done anything ???
I found out today that the Dana Co (they make lots of axles and transmissions for trucks) was the manufacturer of those frames.
Just as I suspected.
A GREAT Japan product, but lots manufactured and assembled by the useless (in my opinion) American UAW work force !
