Will be doing the same thing for the next several weeks. First 60 degree day and the small, shallow farm ponds should explode.

Easter stripers for me and too many to count, with a half dozen 10-12 lbers thrown in to keep it interesting.

Both. You need hip boots to get around though. the beavers damming activity has elevated the water height, so most of the paths are flooded about 6" deep. Carp are active and will probably go nuts next week. Its supposed to be close to 60 on tues and weds. Plenty of ticks too. I was picking them off myself like fruit when I got back to the truck.

sounds nasty. gotta watch out for water moccasins too. if i didn't break my freshwater set-up fishing back there last year i'd be hitting those ponds right about now
