It's just exciting to get some access that i otherwise would never have. I don't get to go out like some of the hardcore crew here and reading about everyone else's access and private areas makes me envious. Reality is I'll only be able to fish one of those spots at night and it will probably only be this spring. We'll see though, yesterday i was doing some serious PR work and glad handing with the contractor and he is a fisherman. He brought it up. The one thing I did learn last fall though is that are plenty of public spots down there and they all have there own unique features. I just don't have the time to put in at all of them so I'd like to stick to one and see how it goes throughout the season. To be continued..........and sorry if I sounded like I was snooty or bragging about access.
The other subs on one of the jobs last fall brought fishing gear in the trucks and went fishing at lunch time. I was there one afternoon watching 2 plumbers reel in blue after blue. The Cop on the detail had 3 rods in his pick up and his lunch consisted of catching blues and stripers.
