I can't think of any of his movies that I liked, but I do respect the way he stuck up for our right [and his] to own and carry firearms. He will be missed.

I saw the news this morning and it made me sad! I was a big fan and the man had a stellar career! Terrible the way he spent the last few years of his life and I hope he is in a better place. Ben Hur, The 10 Commandments, Planet Of The Apes, the too many westerns to name......RIP Mr. Heston, one of the all time great actors.
See "Big Country" if you like westerns...its a true classic!

Soylent Green and The Omega Man were a couple of other great movies by him (OK Great might be a stretch but they were cool)
I pretty much grew up on the Planet of the Apes movies.....they were awesome.

little known fact that Heston marched with MLK and was an ardent supporter of Civil rights.
