Extreme Reel Makeover...Penn Edition

Just got home to find this little baby waiting for me, I can not wait until the striper's and blues give this thing a work out, here are the after and before shots of the reel restorers work.

around $60, for the resto, parts and shipping back home.. best money I have ever spent.

Does you man offer any upgrades or is it just a straight restoration ?

or should I ask in Barrett Jackson terms....

Is it "original" or a "restomod" ?

This is from the reel restorer in Fl, it's a straight up resto of an original 704z.. I have never seen the black spool,I assume that was before the gold spool?
