PLAY the kidz, PLEEEEEEZZZ!!!
How much more does Theo need to see
before he realizes that the future is NOW
with Lowrie and Ellsbury?? i know, i know
we have to showcase Crisp and Lugo, but at what price?
i say we Sheetcan the bums, unless Crisp will play the 4th role,
and showcase the young guns. these guys have talent and
should be an integral part of our everyday line up, imho!!!
after all, he's letting Lester have quite a bit of rope,
why not Lowrie and we know what Jacoby brings to the field
and to the plate, see WS '07
what say you, gents?

I say whatever Francona and Theo think is the right thing to do is probably closer to right than anything I can come up with. 2 Rings in 4 years earns the benefit of the doubt.

How can you find fault with a 5 game win streak
Whatever they are doing is working so I wouldn't go fine tuning anything.
They'll get their innings this year I'm sure

AGREED!
They definitely know what's what with the kids,
just questioning sum of their free agency actions.
and, yes, they were right about JD!
i am DEFINITELY NOT complaining about the '04 and '07
seasons, just trying to figure out why Lugo gets to play over
an equal if not better glove, a better bat, a better bunter, and a smarter ball player all the way around.
Lugo seems to me to be more risk than reward and Lowrie is MLB ready, NOW! i just would like to see them give him a shot at a full season, afterall he IS our next SS isn't he??
why not plug him in, ALL READY?

Not for nothing but Lugo is batting .324 on the season, can't sit a guy that is producing like that.
maybe we should sit Papi.....he's only hitting .181

Jacobi hit 2 dingers last night. It's gonna be real fun watching him this year.

TRUE, Kevin.................
see what a little job insecurity will do for a schlub?
do you honestly think that Lugo will finish up at .324? more like .265! he's off the charts for him even and i do not expect him to continue such a blistering pace. he had to go 4 for 4 to get respectable.
and i certainly think that Lowrie has the potential to be a .300+ hitter.
won't even go there regarding Big Papi.
it was only a matter of time, verrry cool to see Ortiz going to the opposite filed more often. and how's bout that Jacoby???
this year could be the year of the REPEAT!!!
