Hit the River last noc on the drop for an hour and dragged a 15 inch monster up onto the bank using a little Yozuri Mirror.

I think there are a few fish out there but I'm looking at 10 seals on the float so the shad and bass had better be on their toes. The seals don't have a limit.......

I am trying the braids and thermal by starting with fireline. I DID not like casting it in the wind and am just not sure I think much of it yet. I am sorry to say I don't mind changing mono as needed.

You N. River guys had better be ready for the shad. I did read a report suggesting that the shad should be here already but I've never seen them much before the Shadbush blooming. It's gotta be one of our best fish for lite tackle night fishing by lantern light and more laughs than should be legal.

PS.. A Pal-O-Mine tells me he has caught a couple little fellas at Rexham at the end of the parking lot slow fishing streamers on an almost slack tide. (River side) Not sure about his report but It's the BEST place for miles to take your dog for a run and sniff while you fish. My brit just loves the place fish or not. Open to everybody for the next month than townies only.
