I use a fence on the bandsaw if I am doing more than a few and slide the jig against it. Good luck and get used to getting pissed it is part of the process.

thats a great fixture!
I cut mine with a coping saw or back saw, depending on the thickness of the lip, I have a pair of padded "V" blocks mounted in a carpenters vise that holds the plug while I cut it.... I have a PRIMITIVE fixture for cutting on the band saw, but prefer to do it by hand...

Sandman,
If youre making multiples of the same lure, you can also clamp a piece of scrap 2"x2" to the fence behind your bandsaw blade to function as a depth stop.
