Wrapped spinning by CMS, brand new, only test cast. SIC guides except for the 50. 3" off the tip, 23" to center of seat. Paid 300, need to get 175.00. No shipping. Thanks

Interested... with the 3' off the tip, how did that effect the action and the rating? What does it throw well? I see you didn't use it much so don't expect a lot of input. Did the builder recommend the 3" cutoff? Why? Lastly, I guess I'd like to know why you never fished it and are now selling... if it is related to the blank or rod. Thanks.

The reason for cutting back is to get a little more out of the rod. It will handle 3 oz very well and makes a great eel stick. If you do a search for a cut back 120 1L in the rod building or main forum you will get lots of info on the benefit of cutting back. Only reason I am selling is shortly after I bought the rod and two others from cms I bought a boat and have not fished the surf since, and dont plan on it any time soon, to many fish in the bay. It is one of the most versatile sticks you can own.

I will take it. Was thinkin about one for a while but the rod guy has packed up the threads. Im in central MA but hit soco about every other weekend. Ive been pondering this thread since this morning. I have no will power.
