Fisherwoman!!

FW,
I have been blessed to go to the Tri-State Tournament. I'll call MikeB but my wife doesn't mind me taking a few days down there for the Tourney. I'll head down Thursday night and try out some spots Friday to get ready... When will you be heading down, eh?? Think you can smuggle me onto your team so we can crush the "A" guys, hehehe (or at least so I don't get stuck with slugs :P )... Also, know anyone needing to spilt a room down there? I may just get one solo but not sure yet...

Glad to hear your coming Johnnie boy, well as a matter of fact I just happen to talk to Frank O'rourke yesterday and he is going solo also, he called to get the room today, don't know how many nights he is going for, you may want to drop him an email as he is looking for a roomate, if you don't have his email let me know.
As for tri state, we usually go down Thurday night also, so we will definatley be putting in some time on the water before the tournament. I will let ya know for sure tomorrow. We are heading down to the cape tomorrow, to look at a house we are renting in May and check out the water and see if anything looks fishy, will let ya know what happens!!!

Hey Jenn, no fear, you didn't miss anything today, water is still a little on the cool side, no signs of bait or fishies today, we did find a few new spots to try, which we will be trying on Girls day, which by the way is on April 29th put it on your calender. Will let you know about time, but it will be early AM before sun rise.

Also on that same day Baitcaster will be doing a mystery trip for MSBA and any one on this board that would also like to come along. SO if your interested let me know, I will have more details soon as it gets closer to the date as far as time goes.

Jenn, if you want to bring the hubby with you, we can send him with Bill on the mystery trip and you can go with the girls and we will meet the other group sometime later on in the day, Just a thought if you don't want to travel alone!!

Hi Jenn, the hubby may actual know a few people going and it will be a good way for him to start if he is interested. He can ride with Baitcaster if he wants.

As for line, wouldn't go that heavy 10 - 12 lb test would be better, as far as lures go, a couple of poppers, few shads, maybe a few small jigs, but don't worry I will have plenty with me if ya need something. Bring a hat, sunglasses, pliers if ya have them. Rain gear just in case, we will fish in the rain. bring a second set of clothes just in case!!! If I think of anything else I'll let ya know. Looking forward too it also!!!!

Fisherwoman...I was hoping to head down saturday afternoon...but some others plans may disturb that theory!!! Although a sun-mon might work!!! Was really hoping to head out that little bit further to grab our OSV permit......know of any decent places to stay in the area we will be fishing in???

I just CANNOT wait! Saw all kinds of flyfisherman on thw westfield river this weekend......doesnt help my situation any!! HA!HA! And one more thing...in another post you mentioned a "dream" you had......well oddlt enough I TOO had a dream! The other night I had a dream that was SO vivid of being out on the beach fishing......and then I started snorkeling and all I saw were tons and tons of stripers under that there water! Kinda wierd but I enjoyed the dream anyway!

I talked a little with the hubby and still not quite sure how things will be......since he has a refridgeration related job.....seems work is already picking up a bit as the weather warms..... Gotta love that "on call" satus huh? >(

Hi Jenn, you are welcome to stay with Baitcaster and I that night if you want, we live right off of Rt 128 and Rt 3. Just a suggestion if it will save you a little driving if your tired. I want everybody to be safe. If you are looking for an inexpensive place to stay on the cape. We usually stay at the Thunderbird Motel off Rt 28 in west Yarmouth. Rooms are usually around $50 a night. I have there number if ya need it.

Our dreams of fishies will come true soon enough, I am going to the Cape on Saturday to do some scouting. I will let ya know what I find.
