Thoughts and prayers are most definitely sent for the 2 of you.

Did they determine for sure that his intestines got punctured? If it did then get ready for emergency surgery because they can go septic fast, that's what happened to my Rottie and it was VERY expensive. With any luck and a helping hand from the BIG GUY above this won't be the case.

Was he lathargic at all? Did he have any ticks on him lately?

I'm rooting for you's both for a simple cause and a speedy recovery!

If you need to vent or some questions answered drop me a PM.

Insanity is a long and winding road ... I think I finally made it there.

Just talked to the vet, he was not doing good overnight. Vet tells me he had to do emergency surgery, I guess he had a puncture in his intestine that they had to repair. Then he tells me they had a problem with the operating tables heating pad and it put a bad burn on his back.. WTF.. Then he tells me he is not out of the woods yet, may not know for 3 or 4 days. I am heartbroken but where do you draw the line? How much do you put him thru?? As of now I owe the vet $2000.. I can't take anymore stress...WTF
