I know a couple charter guys that use the gulps with as-good success as the real thing. That is all they get now and they stay on the tube better and last longer then natures own. You can get them in bulkl too. They don't bother with the little thin overpriced real worms anymore.

On a related topic, That guy in Maine, seabait I think, was growning some nice ones and had them displayed at the mass bass show a few years ago but I guess it is not taking off because I just don't see them many shops after 6 or so years of "development". I know he sells the scents but if he could grow those bigass worms and sell them at a semi-reasonable price I think he could create a nice nitch market for himself. I am surprised that they have not become more popular. I know a couple shops carry them but most don't.

Not applicable at this time of the season but I have a friend that tips his tubes with peanut bunker when they're available (July-November) - he does VERY well using them.
