this stuff is great, you'll love it. big diffrence from epoxy. i no longer use epoxy.
in some patterns where i don't need to use tuffleye i use plasti dip and it works well. but i love it.

I tried it and the Core is yellow right out of the tube. I'm still on the fence about this stuff. FishHawk.

it has some type of yellow hint, is not 100% clear right out of the tube but when i hit it with the light bbbbbzzzzzzzbbbzbzzzzzzz. hahaha is nice and clear. i talked to the owner of tuffleye and he said is because some flash is made with ION. the ion make some type of reaction. but he said the formula is fixed.since i bought my kit i haven't experienced nothing like that yet. and i tie a lot. so far i've made about 30 surf candies and i'm not done with the first tube yet. so to me it pays off.
good luck. did you contact tuffleye?

what attracted me the most about it is the final finish of the flies.
just by having a full detail of the inside of it can be at your advantage.
this year so far i have used my bunker patterns and the surf candies. and i've been catching more fish on such type of flies.it really gets kind of close to the real deal when it comes down to detail and profile. IN MY OPINION.
i'm ready for my sandeels patterns BROWN/white,olive /white. and i will make one with epoxy and one with tuffleye and i will post them and i'll see who got the eye for it.
