We trolled slowly by the docks that run along central ave (humarock) near C and D streets, and in and around the rip and the island up near the mouth - all within the south river - we also went over towards the 3A bridge (Mary's) and fished the clam beds with good results.

I see a lot of people chunking, but they don't seem to be catching much. I've tried trolling a spreader and it just catches the weeds.

I troll my own tubes with worms. Several colors. I make them such that you can tune the tube just right so it swims naturally. A real kick on a freshwater rod and reel.
