Until I find something better, FIRELINE has been my Go - To line.
I used to be a big P-Pro fan, but those phantom break-offs have stopped me from using it. Although P-Pro is a softer line from day 1, Fireline will also soften in time, and the strength seems superior (iffin' that makes any cents)

....and yes, I always have something spooled w/BigGame - I'll never forget ol' faithful.

...it finally happened, there are no more secret spots

i used 30#Fireline last year to NO problems, and many fish!!!
that is the best, imho and my limited experience..................

that's why this year i'm giving Sufix a whirl,
55# to 65#, paired with a 704Z and tied to
60# to 80# BGame mono shock, or Ande IGFA mono.

still loving the Ande BCountry for my mono set-up,
for the bait and sluggos rod.................that stuff is
SHWEEEEET! been very very good to me, sure hope
the Sufix does me right this year and if not; i am prepared to
try the BGame braid, it looks very similar to the Fireline?
