50# Sufix Performance on Penn Slammer 560. Do not remember the last time I've had an issue with a wind knot or line twisting. Have never suffered from a surprise breakoff either.

When I first started using braid with a spinning reel, I would get "wind" knots. As I studied the situation, what was actually happening was that at the end of the cast and the onset of reeling, there was a tendancy for the line to hop up onto the top of the spool then get pulled back into the spool with subsequent reeling. This would result in a "wind" knot on a subsequent cast. Now I always pull some line at the end of the cast, prior to beginning to reel. No more "wind" knots.
