I didn't want to high jack your thread Motoxcowboy but you mentioned doing some add-ons so i figured I would share.
This is a 1973 hull with a 2000 150 mariner (before and after) that I bought at the end of the winter. I added the t-top and the electronics box along with quite a few accessories and pretty much stripped the entire boat and repainted and rewired. I got a reasonable deal on it and wanted something a little bigger then my old 15 foot cc (would trade my pinky back for it). looking back at the at the old photos makes me wonder why I ever thought I would want to do all of this but it's been a good time. I'm kind of just learning as I go along and wanted something that would allow me to spend more time with my dad.

Even though its really really far from flawless its been a good time. I think after I paint the deck, add my new electronics, my new windshield and some other small things I will take it for a test run.

I'm also thinking about replacing my deck and some other modifications in the future as well. keep me updated on how you make out.

The charm of fishing is that it is the pursuit of what is elusive but attainable, a perpetual series of occasions for hope. ~John Buchan
