you DO know what yup is an acronym for, right?
not that there's anything wrong with THAT!!

if i could, i would be using a VS and swimming to the outer rocks
from Napa to OOB, bro. just not within the budget and i've always
been partial to PENN. kinda hoping they'll come out with the working man's VS,
it could be called the Swimmer........
OOH...sounds like me...I guess that;s why I have that Yuppie sticker on the back of the truck...What does that thing say again???

thnkx for the advice, and i've yet to experience
any probs there. the parking is VERY iffy, for no feeesh!!!
doan know why i bothered............................

on the teevery point, i am always WITH my gear. i take both rods,
and all my trappings with me when i hit tha surf. haven't matured to
the point of becoming SPOT specific with my spots knowledge; so, i'm
loaded fer bear ~almost always~ and especially so when it's me first time to a locality.
cannot stand the possibility of being undergunned or w/o the "back-up to the back-up", ya know??

i doan mine the extra weight, and i mind it even less if
there's a monstah attached to my COW rope !!

yeah Bass Dawg, this time of year, I wouldn't cast anything without a rod that can handle a big fish, you just never know, on the north shore at least, this seems to be the time of year when sombody lands a monster in broad daylight in 2 feet of water
