Bass in Narr Bay

There still bass to be caught in the Bay. I had 2 this morning. One 25 the other 18. Here's the catch, no pun intended, I had to drag 100 yards of wire with a Montauk Bunker spoon in 68 to 80 feet of water to find them.
First run is great. After that it's like a big old log coming in.

No boat, back in the suds.

Add another 100 ft of backing where I am fishing, but they are working. Snagged a 30 lber in the mid belly last week. I thought it was a 80 lber until I saw it up on the surface, sideways. Also had a first 2 weeks ago with a fish swallowing the whole large size spoon to the swivel.

we were into 30+ fish all around 15-20lb last night in the bay ... DEEP... 70-90ft... four rods at a time... barely could re-eel them before another was bent over.... see you guys out there tonight hopefully this storm will pass by sooner than later.

OK Kevin. I'm running around midnight.

No boat, back in the suds.
