Nice morning in SoCo! Nothing big, but we grinded out and boated two 16's and a 20lb'er on what looked to be a slow morning, with slow moving tide and boats everywhere. Damn blues are everywhere too. They ate a good 18 eels and 8 scup on us! Fluking was excellent and we got a nice 8 fish score of 20-24" fish on a big 6 oz. spro Jigs with half a bluefish fillet on them. I'll take it for a morning of fishing. Weather was beautiful!

Fished yesterday, nada...there was a Cambodian guy fishing next to me, looked like he had a monster on, so he starts yelling to me (to help him, I think), so I go over to help, and he's got like a 15# blackfish on (biggest one I've ever seen), so he hands me his line (which is like 14# test at the most), and the fish turns and the line breaks. All of a sudden, the guy jumps in and somehow gets the fish, which he proceeds to throw at me (this all happened in an an instant). I am flabbergasted, but accept the fish toss an put the monster up on the rocks.
Anyhow, the dude takes the fish (leaves his rod behind) and runs away...ten minutes later, he's back with a buddy who speaks English and he was saying that the old guy was very appreciative.
I told him not a problem, but please never to hurl a fish at me again!!!

So crazy fish story, right...I'm telling the story to Mikey while on the phone on my porch, and who should pull up? It's Mr. Sprinkles himself, the Specialist...not what I had planned on for the weekend, but it turned out great in the end!
