Years ago, I always used to say "I need to bring my Bike to the Canal one of these days". Finally rigged up my mountain bike......definitely the way to go. Don't think I'll go without it now, unless I'm going for a quick trip.

keeper, The excess pipe clamp on the PVC tube looks like an accident waiting to happen.
Reminds me to do the same on my cruiser.
wrap black electrical tape to fasten down.

Plus, an 11' rod in those holders is going to have some interesting encounters with low hanging tree branches.

I'd cut them down at least a foot.
