Open beach plug XRA 1322 VS 300
Open beach eeling XRA 1322 VS 300
Pencil popping XRA 1322 VS 300
I easily have over a 100-30 plus lb fish on this rod..
IMO the best pencil rod made..
Canal Plugging XRA 1322 VS 300
Canal jigging Allstar 1209 Diawa Saltiga 5000
Rock plugging XRA 1322 VS 300
Rock eeling XRA 1322 VS 300
Bait XRA 1322 VS 300
jetty XRA 1322 VS 300
Sheltered back bay GSB 1321M VS 300

Why use a short rod and have the fish be just out of range.I will go with the big gear till I can't fish anymore.I recently made the move to VS from The penn 706z.Keeping the reels the same.I don't have to think about retrieval speeds..
The GSB 1321M,, I will use plugging on the open beach also.It is a better all around caster in the high and low range than the Arra. The Arra is softer..It is probably a little tired.Too many big fish.. My Arra has wire frame perfection guides which handle the falls on the rocks better.NIB is a Clutz..I can still feel the Knot on my shin from this yrs spill In June..
I recently purchased another GSB 1321M I will rap with the perfection guides so I can use that on the rocks..
