as i'm typing this we're feeling the outer bands of gustav. it's pouring rain and the wind is honking. my GF just texted me from work that there's a tornado here on our island and one further north in marathon.

I talked to some of my friends in NOLA and they are preparing to leave. They say the mood in the Crescent City is very somber and folks are pretty scared and pretty discouraged. Let's hope that we can move to help the folks in Louisiana and along the Gulf Coast faster than last time. I was there 3 times after the storm and it just broke my heart to see the city I love most so beat up. Say a prayer... send out the message.
