Tagger, is that the troller or the giant diver? I think its the troller. Haven't throw that one yet. Hoping to get into some fish on the new and try it out. I don't typically carry my only rod that can throw it. I have a jointed troller that's simply huge. Here's one on the giant diver. Also, one on an eelskin needle for flap and numbskull.

Here's one

I don't know ... a 1209 would throw it, but who would want too .. too much work .. I'd rather hang drywall than throw 7.5 all night . I'm thinking a Troller also Josh ..

Numbskull, thank you very much. Made a few casts with it last night before the tide dropped too much and got this little guy. It'll see alot more use on higher tides. Thanks again.

Pathetic when all I can find is a bluefish. But this fish was bigger than the camera angle shows and fought harder than any fish I've caught in several years (foul hooked). Crushed a Jigman spook.

Modest fish, but phenomenal plug. You've hit a home run with this one, Paul. Suspect it will stay on one of my plugging rods the rest of the season. Lido- replica by Prof M.

Thanks G. you are too kind. I will say it was a really enjoyable, interesting, plug to build. Especially the threaded thru wire ones I did. I saw it at VB 's house amongst his millions of vintage plugs and wanted to build one. I was surprised when you told me you had one and fished it on occasion. When I did swim one myself I was impressed with the commotion it made. I have several more sealed in a box and will finish them up this winter.

Got a very nice fish today on a plug I whipped up over the weekend. Had several other blow ups on it too. Made my day. It is an extra large version of John's Howdy. I will dub it Howdy super doody. I have not completely figured out how to fish it though because I use his normal size from the boat and fish it with the rod tip below my knees a foot above the water. It is much harder with an 11 foot rod in the canal but that is half the fun, to figure it out.

Needless to say it didn't turn out good for him, the pig. The plug was newly made and only caught this one fish. Looks like it has seen many fish. Done real well with these mini hawgs this year. I will make more this winter and I will load them even heavier too. Lost 2 other plugs this morning too from the yellow eyed buggers
