The guides are Fuji BSVLG Hardaloys (it's custom wrapped, not a factory rod). They're holding up fine. I agree with CH on the sweet spot. It throws a 2-1/2 oz Gibbs darter out of sight. With braid and a 2 oz Hab's needle, you can cover a lot of water.
