I charged up my phone early Saturday and since then, have talked, fiddled endlessly with the phone and the camera and 4 days later, I still have 2 out of 4 bars of battery- 1/2 life left. I even had to program every number from my old phone, so I think battery life is a moot-point. Could be that in Chilmark on the Vineyard, where signals are questionable in areas, the signal blows chow, but here in Boston/Merrimack Valley/Cape Cod-mainland I have a great signal.

I only paid $50 for my phone with a 2-year plan.

This really isn't even a striped-bass related thread at all, but what am I to say.

Hmm...

So Bassius, how'd you go about getting it for $50

"There is no royal road to this heavy surf-fishing. With all the appliances for comfort experience can suggest, there is a certain amount of hard work to be done and exposure to be bourne as a part of the price of success." From "Striped Bass," Scribner's Magazine, 1881.

great phone

I had 1st generation of the Gzone and it worked for 3 days after my boat mishap in July. The flip top twisted and would not close causing the battery to continuously drain. The new one "boulder" has swam once and been exposed to wet weather many times without incident.

1 @ 32 Pledge. Our beloved Striped Bass are in trouble AGAIN.

I fished through the lean years and don't want to live through another collapse of the stock.

2 fish @ 28" is ridiculous.
