As Fishwewee said , you'd be better off with a Saltwater Striper fishing book. There are many out there. Take Ben up on his offer to send you a striper specific book. I think fishing for dummies may be fun to read but its not going to be about striper fishing which has its own set of tricks.
One trip fishing with someone who knows what they are doing will get you into more fish and faster than reading any books. You just got to plan on coming to all our gatherings this season!
From what I could see from the other thread , there are guys waiting in line to show you how to fish!
