Front page
OK - we are gearing up for Spring, right? I think we need a new pic for the front page - here is what I am thinking:
Or something good from the "Night Out"?

Yeah I'm a sick man, but the doc says I can live a long life as long as I keep a moderate amount of fishing in my system at regular intervals. This winter has almost been terminal and if this thaw doesn't break things up, I might be hospitalized. Then again, I have yet to shovel to the boat coverit . BM thinks he's mental hehe.

I understand, while it would be cool to bradcast it in a loop, non BB users would get hung up. What I was really thinkin...was perhaps (with permission of course) is to have a still of the video with a link to his exisiting page. He has taken quite a few videos that look very cool, its like an aquarium down there!
http://www.fishingct.50megs.com/fish...eos/Videos.htm
(I figure its not really free advertising...he's not selling anything)
Well, now that I look at it indirectly he is...
Just another brain burp..

Quick Fix
Go to the site--right click on Clip One--save to My Documents..Then you can go to your desktop---open your media player-----click on the little file up on the top---go to My Documents and click on Clip One. Works for me on all these video things that won't open directly.

Hey guys...Just joined.
My site is not intended to be commercial... The only reason I have links to Aqua-Vu's website is because they donated a camera to the CCA which we are raffling off, I figured that it was the least I could do for them. I'm on the chapter and state boards for the CCA here in CT. Not sure if it makes any difference or not, just thought I'd throw that out there
If anyone is having problems viewing the clips, email me and I'll help you out

Ahah! Blaine - I just saw that you registered here at S-B -
Welcome aboard BTW - and after seeing your profile & site, I saw that you were the guy that took the photo of the SSNS LUND and Captain Got Ahab. Well then, can we use it (seeing that its already up ) and I'll give you & your place the credit for it
I think the confusion was not with your site but with the ctriver site... Or are you involved in both? Anyway several of our regulars are regulars there too.
You have some real nice pics over there and that video really gets the fish juices flowing! http://www.fishingct.50megs.com/
Again, welcome to S-B!
(Oh - we're a little less stringent than most sites about links to other places but tend to mirror the other sites' respective policies - we just don't like spamming (especially by my pal Mike Bartlett from B-Fast)...

John... I put the CT River Stripers together for a local tackle shop. I also did the CCA of Connecticut's page. My personal site for my pictures and videos is the one that has the striper footage. It could be considered commercial because I am promoting Aqua-Vu's cameras...but that's only because they donated one to the CCA. My site is www.fishingct.50megs.com.
Hey GS... With the impending rains, I'd be willing to bet that the harbor will be free next week Hopefully the water isn't too muddy and the fish adjust before too long. I unburried boat and charged the batteries. As soon as the ice gets lifted from some of the setbacks on the CT, the pike will be hitting too... It's only another 45 minutes to the CTriver for you Something to think about........
