Ahhh, so its a water pressure type.

Is there a tube running to the gauge, or does a sensor take over and send an electronic signal to the gauge?

I had the remote water pressure type, tore that out the second day I owned my boat. GPS is so much better and accurate.

Things done at the last possible minute are done with the greatest possible information. Procrastination is, therefore, the most efficient means of doing things.

Ditto. Go with the GPS speed. I pay a lot more attention to my RPMs than the speed. I know I'm doing between 23 and 25 knots at 4200 RPMs.

No boat, back in the suds.
