Not talking about points! Or the adjustment! Talking they almost topped 50 pounds average weight from the surf exclusively! The winning team had about a 52 pound average but they had some boat fish on the slate! Being a surf guy....I find it impressive!  |

i'm confused
we had a 41.3 lb average
they had a 49.2 lb average (which probably would be higher if you took out the surf fish and replaced them with more boat fish)

How could it be higher if they were replaced by boat fish?Our top four fish were surf caught. I still think the handicap system is skewed in favor of the shore anglers. If I fish next year it will be from the shore division again. The idea of a 40# fish being adjusted to 48# is perplexing to say the least.Great effort by ALL anglers in the contest.Back Eddy and the HAB's tournament this weekend with a lot of great fishing and outstanding tides to accomadate those of us that enjoy missing sleep.

i was talking in terms of weight, not points, and assuming that the 11-14 place fish on your team were probably heavier than the 1-4 place surf fish that scored higher with the factor. that's all. wasn't meant as a negative, actually meant it as a compliment. |
