Well, I'm pretty much spoken for with The Habs this weekend - can't believe it's finally here - man, this is gonna be epic
It's gonna be a good weekend weather-wise but I wish it was calling for partially snotty with some cloud cover at night...but ya gotta play the hand you're dealt.
I've got my people in the OGN working overtime on intel - that's the Old Guy Network, it's basically for grumpy old men, ya gotta be over 50 to be a member. Think I finally got a handle on my spots of choice given the conditions
Uncle Crafty means to do something...well... crafty for the tourney. Just wanna see if this old boy still has it in him - I hope I don't have to face the ugly truth come 9:00 AM Sunday

Okay, time for the Dutch Uncle Talk.
Ya know, I saw your aunt a coupla days ago and told her that given the way you've been studying and working if you're not careful you're gonna ruin a great opportunity to become a sportfisherman of some note
Before you know it, you'll have a mortgage, children and a job of some importance - basically what Zorba the Greek called "the whole calamity".
Don't put off having an unreasonable amount of fun - the older you get, the tougher it is to do with growing responsibilities.
Harumph....apparently, I'm watching waaaay too much CNBC and MSNBC while I work in the office.
Well, that and talking to Mrs Crafty over coffee yesterday morning. We both agreed that we're absolutely delighted that we pi$$ed away an awful lot of money having fun instead of investing it in retirement funds - we wouldn't have those monies at our disposal today if we had and wouldn't have all the great memories of time well-spent with friends.
Jesus, Mary and Joseph... it seems it's not taking much to set Uncle Crafty off today
Anyway....sorry to hear you're not gonna be able to do the tourney, Bry - maybe you, me and piemma can get together for a little blackfishing at some point when the weather cools
I'm gonna take my toggin' seriously this year - and I mean to re-take the NCSWFC Tautog trophy for 2008

Leaving for Utah Sunday at noon.
Packing on Saturday.
Coming back next Friday, then down the Cape for the weekend, then flying out to Italy a week from Sunday.
Stinks for me!

Had planned to fish the Hab's classic, but I have been pretty sick the last few days, so I think the hour and half ride and trying to fish after that is out of the question. I'll probably just try to fish around here a little bit and watch the Sox and Pats.
