Hauling the boat for the season on Sat, SOX sat nite, hockey games / yardwork Sunday

Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day ...
show him where to fish and ... you'll be sorry

Thumbs up

Fishing hard both Weekend nights. Really going to give it hell this weekend. Lets hope I can get out of 20lb bass hell and really end the year on a good note.... maybe something in the 40lb range?

The charm of fishing is that it is the pursuit of what is elusive but attainable, a perpetual series of occasions for hope. ~John Buchan

Upon further review, that sounded a bit pompous. That is basically the size fish I have been getting into pretty consistently. My numbers were really good this year, I just lacked those real good quality fish I have had in the past. (I also have dropped a few real big fish, thanks to a nicked leader and a straightened Kalin's jig head.)

I was basically bitching that this just has not been a year of big fish for me. I have worked hard for fish but just haven't stumbled across a real slug of big fish like I have in years past. Pretty much doing the right things at the right times, just don't have the horeshoe thats all.
