Exactly - Went out from 4 to 8 this morning and was nice and warm while others fished an hour and left. It paid off. BTW: I highly recommend the NRS Powerhouse splash jacket unless you're swimming. Great deal for around 70 bucks.
Which brings me to my next rule - Do not wait for reports cuz most fishers ain't out there in the snot and the fish are moving fast.
