Lamiglas and St Croix rods for sale.

Here's the list...

1. 11' one piece graphite wrapped at Ericksons. Spinning $150
2. 10' two piece wrapped at Gil's. Spinning $135
3. 8'8" honey Lamiglas (cut down MB1083M) re-wrapped by B-Brothers. $75
4. 9' St. Croix two piece marked 8091-M-9', graphite butt piece with honey glass tip section. $60 There may be a second one of these available. Nice light rods... rated 3/4 to 3oz.
5. 7' custom built at Gil's tuna rod, spinning. Probably a Lami. Had an Ahab 20 on it. $80

I may add to the list, but that's it for now. All the rods are in very good condition. The Lami blank numbers are covered by the wraps. I'd guess the 11' is good for up to 4oz. The 10' 3-4oz. The honey is a great eel and b-way stick that I've used for just about everything up to 4oz. All pick up in SoCo.

There is a matching wrap (to the 11') Erickson's 9' Lami graphite conventional that may be available also... if I don't keep it myself. I'm selling these for a friend who can no longer fish. He had them all built and maintained his equipment very well. I'll meet anyone who is interested in looking at them in the SoCo area as long as you are seriously interested. Thanks. I'll post photos later... got to go to work. The Ahab and Penn 650SS I have posted came from the same fellow.

I might be interested, are any of these conventional?

Frasier: Niles, I’ve just had the most marvelous idea for a website! People will post their opinions, cheeky bon mots, and insights, and others will reply in kind!

Niles: You have met “people”, haven’t you?

Well I used the 11' and a matching 9' conventional all day yesterday at east Beach. Got to say that I may grab the 9' Lami convent. for myself. If I don't it will be added probably at $125 or so. The others are all spinning.

Forgot to mention that the 11' spinning rod and the 9' conventional are a matched set with identical wraps.

matching Lami customs

1D/R

what size did you throw on the 11' spinning and 9' conventional?
I am being tempted by a package of the matching customs. I live near Ericksons, they do good work. Looking forward to pictures.

I was plugging with both of them yesterday at FPR. Everything from SS 2 3/4oz poppers to big Salty's pencils. 2 and 2 1/2oz bucktails. I'd say they both can handle at least up to 3 1/2 or 4oz easily. The 11 is too big for me... just can't swing an 11' anymore. I really liked the 9' conventional, but I really don't need it. I'll post more photos tomorrow when I can get the rods side by side on the porch. Best thing to do is come see them. I am selling these and much of the stuff I've been listing for the guy who had them built at Erickson's.

Nothing actually spoken for. Animal wants a look at the 11' and the 7' tuna rod. StCroix wants photos of the 11' & 9' matched set. SaltyB wants photos of the StCroix. But, no one has posted an I'll Take It or actually taken a look at them. I can meet in SoCo or anywhere on the Rt 138 corridor from Hope Valley to the Tower. As I said above I'll post photos later. Thanks.

That whitish spotting on the wraps wipes off. Not an issue. Wraps are all good.

Here's the 7' tuna rod that was built at Gil's in Wakefield. It has the 1st model Penn 850SS that I'm selling in another thread mounted on it. Originally was matched with a Fin-nor Ahab 20, which is sold.

That's a bit lower than I was hoping for. How about $260? I thing that the blank for the 11' currently goes for over $125... but I also know these are older rods.

Looks fine I'll take it unless stcroix really wants them. It's not a necessity for him right now.
StCroix wants the two Lami one piece rods. You, I think are interested in the 9' St Croix. St. Croix is SOLD to #^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&. PM me and we can arrange for a pick-up or....? Thanks.

$225 for both is the best i can do especially since i will need to have those ss guides changed on the 11' for braided line. Otherwise nice looking rods.

Nah... can't do any way near as much with 8'....Just sent this PM...

Wow... He gave me two of them, both in two pieces and I read the numbers and label on one and thought they were both the same. I have the other one here in my rack. It's wrapped with cork tape and a Fuji flat reel seat. Send that one back and schedule a pickup for the one I have and I'll send it to you. I'll refund what ever the shipping to me and back to you comes with.... just wasn't paying attention I guess. They are identical... except for that last foot. Sorry. Kevin

Also have an 8' St Croix two piece, half black graphite, tip half honey glass. $70 picked up.

I'm putting a hold on the tuna rod until I get some info on the ratings on it for a member.
