paul, i was fishing the other day off the beach in soco ri and a old timer was fishing a real goo goo...this guy had to be all of 70 and he never took the goo goo off fished it for 2 hours, mid day...bunker on the beach...I was watching him...I've really never seen anyone fish a goo goo before. he had the lip bent down like yours and was hitting spots between rocks and eddyies around them...fishing it topwater to a little sub surface..he never stoped plugging and after like 2 hrs he hooked up with a 36 inch blue...you could hear his 704 from 20 yards away crying.....what a fight...it was great watching someone with years of experience fishing a goo goo...his plug was white like yours

he was useing the 8 inch one and getting some good distance too
