weewee when you say "larger" are you refering to the 9" ones? I noticed the same problem on the "smaller" swimbaits early on. You could actually see that the tails were attached later. Now they seem to be seamless throughout. I saw the 9" swimbaits at the Freeport show here in long island. Looks more like a boat lure to me than anything else. They have two huge hooks set closely along the back. I don't know if that would freak a bass out or what. Plus the fact that casting one of those puppies for any extended period of time would probably wear me out.
