Honestly ,I don't think my pictures are exceptional.
The difference between my pictures and many others is that I will actually stop fishing if i "like the shot". The thing is ,we all see these same scenes with out eyes, I just sometimes burn it on disc and recreate a moment. Nothing is making me happier then to have someone enjoy my writing or my pictures. Never in a thousand years my grandfather would thing i would get here from where I was so I feel incredibly blessed and lucky to have friends like many here on s-b.com. As far as a book ,my pictures are only result of using the camera for 4 months and maybe 10 times. Maybe after few years I'd be open to idea of putting in a web-based kind of thing (not sure exactly what) but I doubt about a book form. The printing is still a very expensive process. I will make some of the prints available through some choice shops. I just wish I could do it and make it more reasonable as far as cost. Again ,you running into cost of printing/framing

Zeno, To follow up our phone call, this new book is without a doubt the best technical surf striped bass book that Ive ever read and I am so proud to be a part of it. Anyone, either novice or sharpie , will get alot of very useful information on catching stripers in the surf from this book. Also, it is a great follow-up to the first book. Armed with info from both, I can't understand why all of the readers won't do better in the surf in 2009! Congrats!!!!!!. PS- Who's the surf fisherman on the cover? PPS, It's so nice to see that the rigged eel and eel skin got there " just desserts " in the new book. I have been telling people for years to use them. They may take a little time and effort but as you know, well woth it.

From a seasoned surfcasters perspective I found it much more interesting that the first book. The first book was good for those who needed it.Don't get me wrong. And to be honest there's not much in the new book I did not know. But hearing it from other peers is a nice touch.I find myself wanting to compete with them to do as well.In that aspect I found it inspirational.I have not found that in a book since I have read Striper Surf. I have since found out that author was Not a good Person and the light has dimned for me on that book.Zeno is one of the good guys.I can't help but have a great feeling for him and his accomplishments in writing and now Photography..
Your Grandfather should be proud Z, you have done well.
Like Andy Lemar, You will be remembered not for your accomplishments, but for what you have brought to our community.Helping others by sharing. It can be hard to do.
You have found it so easy and many are luck for it..

NIB, OTW called me for pics of us because you are such a lousy photographer. While you can call yourself a peer in the fishing dept, you have a long way to go when it comes to pictures.
How is the fishing down your way? If I come down I will bring goodies from P I T S.

Your photography is phenomenal!! Even better than your writing and that is very good. Some of the pictures that you have posted here and SOL are amazing.

I have read the first few chapters of your book. So far, so awesome. Thanks.
