More info more questions, I just looked at the suzuki site and here is there sales pitch around the gear ratio:
2.38:1 gear ratio lets the DF140 turn a big prop for instant acceleration and phenomenal top-end performance.
John you said that "your prop would be doing 15000 RPMS at 6K on the engine(w/ 2.5:1)"
It's not true to say 1 turn of the engine produces 2.38 turns of the prop?
and the $12 parking in the lake comment was the condition of baysides lot.
