Hi, my name is Rich and I'm the new guy on the block. Just registered tonight, saw this thread and figured it's a good time as any to jump in.
I'm out of Ct., up by the dam. Been fishing the river since I was 10, wasn't much of a river then. Fished mostly the quiet waters till I was introduced to Greenhill beach.....tender foot country. My uncles decided to take me out for my first night of surf fishing in a NE blow in Oct., ummm..things didn't turn out so well.
Went into the service in "75" got back 4 years later and decided I need to keep the excitement going and started fishing again. Been fishing hard along RI, Cape and the Ct. River for the spring run. Couple of years ago I fell into the dark side of things with a guy by the name of wahlie and a little red dog that frequents this board.
Been married 11 yrs., 2 kids and man is time is flying by. Anyway, I love the night surf and that anticipated explosion on the other end of the line. Life is short, go get 'em.
