BEST RHHitter i'll ever see, YET
he is also the biggest PIA i've ever seen put on a uniform
and i detest the "styling" at the plate and the goofball antics in the OF.
if he ever "grew up" he could be the GOAT, but there will always
be the "Manny being Manny" knock on his career, his history of
tanking it when his team is out of contention, and the crimes against the Game that he finds so much delight in perpetrating. what a MAROON!!!

One baseball insider was on WEEI today and was present at the winter meetings mentioned that he believes Manny will end up with one of the west coast teams. He also added he believes the Yankees will start pursuing him now that they have added some pitching.

Angels or Dodgers
He thinks he is A-Rod or Texeria. He turned down the Dodgers initial offer.
As long as we don't see him until the playoffs, I don't care.

I think Manny will eventually be a handfull for any club who signs him.All thats required is the right chain of events or event.
I loved Manny when he played for the Sox.On a personal level,as a fan,I was so disapointed when he left the team the way he did. While I wish no ill will towards him,I hope he stands as an example to young fans and players that you have a responsibility to your employer to be professional at ALL times on the job and that includes when and how you leave.
I am a lifelong Red Sox fan but Derek Jeter is one of my favorite players. He and a handfull of others represent all that is good with the game.Unless he goes through some Scrooge type transformation as a major league ball player,I can't bear the thought of him going to Cooperstown.

He's a first ballot HOFer, but not even the best right handed hitter playing now, never mind ever. Look up some guy named Albert Pujols on the Cardinals. Or Alex Rodriguez. They're both pretty good at hitting.
As for the greatest of all time, you must be either joking or on something.
Ever hear of guys named Willie Mays, Ted Williams, Babe Ruth or Hank Aaron?

Conservatism is not about leaving people behind. Conservatism is about empowering people to catch up, to give them tools at their disposal that make it possible for them to access all the hope, all the promise, all the opportunity that America offers. - Marco Rubio
