Must have been exciting there for a little while at high tide.

Ocean Drive saw some serious action as well; judging by the carnage Green Bridge might have been 4 wheel drive only at high tide. Many new holes in the sea walls too. A few more big storms and parts of the road may be in jeopardy out near Brenton.

I believe the company Toonoc works for is supposed to be repairing them. He was out there 2 years ago surveying all the seawalls.

My block

must be blessed. Never lost power. 1/4 mile away in Bolton the downed trees and powerlines look like hurricane damage. Downtown Clinton has 3 places open, a bar, a pizza joint and a packie. Can't ask for more than that, I guess. Solomon Pond Mall did open at 1 on Friday and was rocking yesterday. But try to buy a generator within 300 miles...

For once Northern RI escaped the Ice. Lots of rain, in fact the most that fell in RI was in my town, Burrillville 5.31 inches in 2 days. Some basement water but I have had worse. Never lost power and I'm heating 100% with wood so I didn't care anyway.

And the next Nebe or Spence who busts Bryan's *#@ls will be bitch slapped by me.

No boat, back in the suds.

I was starting to get concerned, Paul - I hadn't seen you online in a while -

That Burrillville is a wild place - heard they got wild emus running amok up there...

"There is no royal road to this heavy surf-fishing. With all the appliances for comfort experience can suggest, there is a certain amount of hard work to be done and exposure to be bourne as a part of the price of success." From "Striped Bass," Scribner's Magazine, 1881.

Sunday afternoon and we still don't have power and it looks more like Tuesday before we get it back. Last night it was 6 degrees here so the line crews were having a tough night. It should be warming up now for the next few days. Got heat but it would be nice to have water.
