A hospital in Houston just took Clemon's name off of a wing because of the roids/girlfriend snit. So I have to guess his cards are in the toilet too.
I tried and experiment years ago.. I bought/collected about probably 200 Kevin Mitchell rookie cards for $.25 or less. I said that I would be rich someday as long as he doesn't murder or rape anyone. He was accused of rape and there went his card prices.

Has anyone ever heard of a Bart Giamatti with a "rose" on his nose? As in Pete Rose? I got 2 Giamatti cards. The first was normal but the second has a distinct rose on his nose, complete with the stem and a leaf. Unmistakable. I've asked around but no one knows anything about it. I'll try to scan a pic in sometime

Now I have to go through all my Giamatti cards to see if there is a rose on his nose. 89 Topps I think.

I used to work with a guys about 10yrs ago that was an avid baseball card collector. He showed me his "collection" which amounted to at least a half dozen packing boxes full of cards, catalogged in his own system. With the number of cards, the age and condition of those cards, as well as complete sets of various teams, leagues and seasons, I couldn't even begin to calculate how much they would be worth. A good guess would be $10's of thousands to probably over $100 thousand.
(That's not counting any new purchases he may have made in the years since. I mean, I've seen people move with fewer boxes than this gut had.)

88 Bledsoe rookie cards................at least I got most of them out of packs. Score select, like them the best, as far as football cards go. I have a sheetload of them, baseball and football, mostly baseball though. Companies killed them way overproducing. AND YOU CAN HAVE ALL THE CARDS IN THE WORLD, BUT TRY SELLING THEM. If nobody out there will buy them they ain't worth sheet.
