TFCTFN is the 28th.
Settle on what you are going to do and I'll try to make the road trip (if you'll have me )....
How big is the Man Cave? Might be good for some reel maintenance too?

My mancave is just a workbench area in my basement- not adequate for a group- however, my house in Gloucester is big enough for a gathering-
Let me propose this- Feb 7th, 2PM-7PM
We could eat, drink and BS the day away.

I was personally hoping for a more informative/hands on learning event, not that a BS session at Hooters is a bad thing. Anyone want to do a clinic on reel cleaning? I doubt they would let us set that up at Hooters.... any thoughts?
I hope to be at PISC event Feb 21st for an all day BS session...

Just a suggestion - maybe contact Martha at Surfland and ask if she would be
interested in running a clinic. She does one for the PI Surfcasters and
just might do one if we can gather enough solid participants. If there was
enough interest, the hall where the meetings are held may be available.
COST ??? always a problem loosening wallets. Anyone on the site have a big
enough area to accommodate a bunch of liars in one place?
Catch you later Ross........

Thanks Don. Good idea re. Martha.
I might put in a call to Mark Ryan this week at Ryan Marine here in Marblehead. His shop has worked out extremely well for the Maddie's group meetings. We just have to dangle some sort of carrot, be it a small usage fee, or whatever..... Anyone know Nat or Derek at First Light Anglers? They put on a great tuna presentation.

The State House??? (Sorry, couldn't resist)
I know PISC is doing a How-To night for february that is all about reel maintainence and such.
I want to say Fireman's hall runs us about $100 for a meeting there, But I can check at the next meeting for the price.
