Drunken Clam Chowder...

Rick, haven't been able to confirm the nite off yet - should be able to with luck - but I'll create a hot stockpot of Drunken Blackfish Stew .
The only drawback is I'm fresh out of tog in the freezer, if anyone wants to contribute - all ya have to do is bring it along thawed and I can have it ready to go and just add the tog at the end - cubed tog only takes 20 or so minutes for to cook in the chowder anyway -
The 'Drunken' part is easy... ...I'm a saucy-ay par excellance on the 2nd most important ingredient.

If you will have the capability to bake them for a bit, I will bring two large broiler pans covered in tasty "Buenos Nachos" One of three things I do well
If not, I'll bring something else.

Stewie...yup, we've got ovens. Nachos would be a good idea...anything to keep the wolves at bay before we get the entrees out (the boys and girls get pretty hungry, right off the bat).
I'll put you down on the list.

Hey Rick -
I think at this point I think it's probably wise for me to forego making the chowder as planned in the interest of food safety...
Been sick for over a week and don't want to put anyone else at risk for this crud - it's not a lot of fun.
I'll bring some sodas along or bottled water if I do make it - but going to TFCTFN at all is starting to look pretty iffy unless there's some dramatic improvement, which isn't seeming likely...
I'm bummed big-time, been looking forward to it all winter...but I also don't want to crop-dust the whole gang with the flu either -

Are we gonna have any appetizers this year? that might be a good idea while everyone waits for the chow to heat up, or will that screw up the whole buffet thing????
I can bring something for an appetizer if you want.
