I've been questioning it based on what I could see as facts not what was being force fed to me.
I think Bush made horrlible, stupid mistakes.
Given that he had a republican congress, he should have RAMMED every conservative principle down the throats of you libs, but instead he wasted his credibility on bad wars, bad judment and terrible communication. If I had my way, I'd really given the liberals something to whine about. Shut out all illegal immigrants, end MOST welfare, cut massive government spending........  |

Now hold on there a second Jimmy. I'm a pretty "average" liberal and I don't see anyone on this side of the fence supporting illegal immigration; I think MOST welfare should be replaced with workfare and support services like affordable daycare to make it work and cutting massive gov. subsidies is just fine with me too...lets start with oil company and agribusiness subsidies and corporate welfare too!

There doesn't seem to be a lot of recourse if a president chooses another course.
Bush ran as a uniter, compassionate, small government conservative who wouldn't apply our troops liberally or use them for nation building.
Talk about a bait and switch.
